Decided to take one more shot at the 7's before totally focusing on finding the bats.  As it turns out I'm glad I did, managed to put my first 7 gill on the beach.  Measured out at 87", not a monster but I was happy.  You guys were right, not much of a fight but pretty exciting gettting it out of the water!  Special thanks to Ramon and Eric H for tailing it for.  Respect, Verne

I love it, and well rewarded for all that time you have been putting in! 

They honestly fight a little better when they get in the 8' range, but still nowhere near the fight a soupfin shark gives you!

Was awesome watching you finally get 1 bro... And we ended up staying till 11:30 for no more bites, glad I atleast got my batray lol
Definitely looking forward to the next  trip...although I haven't gotten a big soupie yet so that's high on the list...
