Two of us took a run at them last evening, we rode up in separate cars.  The conditions were perfect, low surf and zero weeds.  Got set up and just sat down and he gets the "right" kind of bite.  He gave it the 5 minute rule, reeled it in to find his mackerel head shredded.  We thought "Oh Hell Yeah", this is gonna be one of those sessions.  For the next 4 1/2 hours we never got a tickle.........ended up doing the "Drive of Shame" on the way home.........but it was nice to be on the sand, not sure when we can get out again   :)

No shame in that these days Verne.  these are crazy times that i hoped i would never see in my lifetime.  Just getting out now feels like a total victory!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

That sounds like my last couple of trips. Quarantine or not, the fish still don't like my line.  ;)
