another nice session in samo

Last minute surf session with my buddy who yet again invited me... and who am I to say no :wink:
we arrived to samo at 5:30 to some beautiful conditions,  hardly any wind....small rollers and no salad. ..made for some nice fishing
In total I got 1 nice 17" sandbass, 3 leos, at 43",45", and 56 " all males...plus I got 50" bat, as for my buddy he ended up with 2 Leo's at 47", and 53", also males... plus a nice bat at 47"...just brought a few fresh macks. ..and ran out by 10

Wow, and you guys look so happy to be hooking up ::) Is SaMO a traditional beach that's exposed to waves like SD or one of those fake sheltered ones?

I'll try and smile next time ;)
I believe its not a completely sheltered beach..but it's right on the side of point that somewhat protects this area and I'm guessing the little finger jetties are helping keep it calm aswell

Lucky! SD folks are totally subjected to the surf when beach fishing.
