I'm down to a pack of rockfish and halibut in the freezer and was hungry for some fresh seafood.  Figured it would be a good day to take the family down to the docks and pick up some fresh seafood.

I picked up 2 pounds of jumbo live spot prawn

And 2-1/2 pounds of Opah and 1-1/2 pounds of Big Eye tuna.

I made the big eye into poke and it was fabulous!  (I should have taken pictures)

The spot prawn were grilled to perfection!  I found an herb butter recipe for grilling and it didn't disappoint!  (I have pictures, but need to upload them)

I was a little disappointed at my Opah.  The steaks were amazing, but it cooked a little quicker than I thought it would and was a little on the dry side.  Thankfully I only cooked up one big steak and have two more to experiment with later.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
