Mystery Thief

So, I have Grandpa duty this morning and leaving for up north to visit some friends at 11:00.  I was in a rush to get everything done yesterday after my trip since I know I had my hands full today, but made sure I double bagged the fish carcasses and put it in a bucket with a lid next to the truck so I would remember to dump it in the morning at some dumpster.

Walked out this morning to this...



No bag of fish carcasses...   No drag marks or torn bag...  No bucket top to be seen anywhere...  No footprints anywhere....

I looked up and down the street and even in the trees to see if a racoon possibly did it, but there was no way it wouldn't have torn open the bag for morsels and left a mess...

Only thing I could think of is a coyote found it and grabbed the bag like a baby in a crib and ran off with the whole thing, but that still doesn't explain where the hell my lid to the bucket went?

Strange....maybe a coyote took the lid as well to have as a frisbee...

Ugh... I guess half the mystery is solved.  I kept smelling fish, and looked under the boat (half-ass bend over) since boat and trailer are really close to the ground.  This time went to my knees to see half the mystery solved!



Must be a racoon....  Now where the hell is the blue lid I had on it?

....maybe a coyote took the lid as well to have as a frisbee...

My neighbors dogs are always running loose.  You might be onto something!
