Went to fish Balboa, knowing there was a boat parade. Thought, eh, I won't find water side parking. No parking in Newport Beach period. Retreated to Huntington.

What's biting out there?
I'm going out camping at Carlsbad and Doheny during the holiday break. My wife let me pick since it's around my Birthday. Hoping to get my first toothy ctitter on the beach. Previous hookups, back a few years, ended with the line snapping. Since then been using weed wacker line as a rub guard but haven't hooked up.

Well the bay bass weren't biting in the spots I ended up scouting in HB and the Alamitos bay.

Have fun camping. I feel like I'm camping in my own room right now with how cold it is indoors.
