I was in San Marcos today, so why not stop at Turner's ?  The Lady that works there usually helps me and she showed me a couple of Rods I was interested in while she was spooling my reel  with 50Lb. mono for the Bat fight 8)   We did a few bend tests and came up with  this rod  to pair it with my Okuma reel. Hopefully it's a good match, cant wait to try it out 8)  She gave me a 10% discount and said the price would be going up 30 bucks at the end of the week so now was a good time to buy  ::) Picked up a couple irons too  :)

Hope everyone is doing well and ready for the Bat Fight 8)

Looks like a nice rod.
Good choice on the jig colors.

Sweet setup. I sense you're gonna have blood on the decks this summer. 8)

Nice gear and great jig colors.  Let the wallet open up to the tackle gods!  lol
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

That rod is a little light for throwing those irons, but it is a graphite so the tip should be able to handle it. It'll make a nice live bait set up.
