Happy to be boatless

I am finally glad to be without my boat this time The Cyclops went in to get the 36v Trolling Motor  and 3 batteries installed. There were some other issues that have been put on the back burner until the time was right to make one trip to the Shop and address them all at one time It was close to the 20 hours on the motor so I told them to do the 1st engine service while it was there. The owner told me he was having a problem with a stray cat getting into boats and tearing up upholstery and clawing the Sea Deck to shreds, so I bought a cover for the boat. He as been trying to trap the cat but no luck so far.....I suggested a pellet gun   Hope to have it back in about a week, we shall see   I was by myself and nobody at the shop would help me put the cover on   It's not the best first attempt but I was kind of pissed and it's a chore by yourself so for now it should keep the cat out, when I bring the boat home I will do a better and neater job. Hopefully this visit wont be more than 2 thousand bucks and I can get busy on chasing fish

That doesn't sound normal having a stray tearing up upholstery. Sounds kind of fishy... Funny though. When I got my boat back from the shop, it had cat prints all over it.
I'm any case, it's offshore season! Time for you to make the room to the 9!
