Tuesday's Back Baby! (10/18)

After some stiff drinks and watching some playoff baseball, Squatch and I headed down to the surf to try and get back into the Tuesday Groove and catch something for the shark list!

Surf was small and no salad to speak of.  Lots of people watching the sunset, but soon dissipated after it went down, although there were people on the beach still until 10:00pm.



Lots of bites, but mostly bait stealers.  I made sure I wrapped my baits pretty good to get by on the first few strikes.



Steve didn't want to use a glow stick because he wanted to fish old school, but I saw the glow.



I finally got one to stick, but it was just a little 2.5' kitty.



Steve's baits were getting picked clean, but came up with the skunk busting zero fish to salvage a night of Bait Thieving bastards!  (It was still fun watching the rod bounce all night long)



Well, it wasn't the Tuesday night I was hoping for, but it was fun getting out and soaking up the salty night air.  Even had a super stoned guy try to teach me the way of the "Cosmos" and point out every star in the sky.  I was trying to get away when I noticed Steve already 100 yards away making his escape.

Thanks for reading and hopefully Tuesday Nights will be back on a regular basis.

I can't remember the specifics, but we couldn't get out there last week. I think the surf was pretty messed up.
This week, I had to captain some people on a boat on Tuesday.
