My weekend fishing plans were all screwed up because of "family boat day" on Sunday.  I am so glad I went on Friday as I woke up this morning to "It's raining and cold... we don't want to do boat day in this weather.  Let's go rent a paddleboat instead."

<sigh>

I would have just said we're still going, but my granddaughter even is on board and I don't want a household of girls mad at me all day (and possibly all week)

While the girls sat on the back, I was stuck peddling for 30 minutes... It would have been the perfect day to be out fishing in the ocean or bay.  The girls had their chance, so next time I'm throwing the kibosh on any of their weekend ideas.  Now that the Jets are the Jets again, it frees up my Sundays to tuna hunt on Shaun's boat the next month.
