Well, haven't been out on The Cyclops since last September, then I had shoulder surgery and the weather went crazy. It was time to get the family out for a day on the water but there was resistance about the idea of open water. Janie and Max don't have their sea legs yet and they were worried about getting sick. I pumped them full of the pills and even had them wear the wristband that is supposed to eliminate all the queazy stuff, Here is the initial look !

Once Myles got a fish then Max was all in, then it was Game On  !!..... Yay !!

Saw the birds crashing bait with the dolphins, it was CHAOS !

Janie even got the Jackpot fish   LOL

We made a few more passes and scratched a variety of rockfish

Max decided he wasn't feeling like Aqua Man anymore so we had to leave them biting and headed into The Bay. Cruised around and took in some scenery and fished here and there but it was pretty busy for a Sunday and it was getting a bit chilly even though the sun briefly popped out, so we called it a day around 3pm

Hard to believe these two are 18 already (next month)

Back to the Launch Ramp

Got a nice variety, I am sure we would have Limited Out if Captain Queazy was up to it, oh well, great Family Time nonetheless !

Hope to get back out soon !

That was one Red, RED!  Wow!  Nice catching!

Well done Boys and Girl!  How was the shoulder feeling?

BTW, the Yellows are in La Jolla big time, but lots of bait are making them hard to catch.  Might want to "eye" up a trip out there this week while they're in there this thick.  See what I did there?  :D
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Good on ya getting the family out, and getting the Cyclops wet after so long!

I've had limited success with basically every seasick remedy. The electric watch was okay. The prescribed patch was okay but the drowsiness was insane. Dramamine was okay. Bonine didnt work. Drop of peppermint oil on the roof of the mouth is definitely a miracle worker when I start to feel woozy, but only lasts a few minutes. Good sleep and healthy eating seems to be the most consistent preventative for me. Bad sleep the night before has been the most obvious cause for it to me in the last year.

Quality time! Same signs as last year when we had dolphin, bait, and birds from the border to Oside and out as far as thee eyes can see.

The shoulder was a little sore that evening and just a little today, so hopefully I'm out of the woods, now I need something with some weight to put it to a true test !!
