So, I was putting some stuff away and organizing my fishing tackle up in the loft I built in the shop back in 2022. I found a brand new Penn Fathom 40, spooled with 65Lb. Braid that I forgot I bought :o  As I was looking at it I realized I had also picked up a Penn Carnage ll rod :o  :o  Wow, Christmas came early as the two paired nicely together  8)

Was debating weather to swap the reel with my Bat Fight setup (Penn Fathom 30) or just have the Fathom 40 and Carnage rod as another boat rod for them deeper drops for Rockfish  ??? Forgot to take a pic, too jazzed with the discovery :)

Play around and see how they balance in your hands with the rods. I'm sure both will work for both situations. Nice score (from your past self)!

Christmas present to yourself... or the "Cheez" hid them one fateful Pig Party evening.. I could see that happening also.  LOL
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

Actually I bought the reel at The Bart Hall Show and the rod I got from Pacific Coast Bait and Tackle, I just forgot I had either one cause apparently I have too many......is there such a thing  ::)  ;D  ;D
