Bad Pig made the annual trek to our Desert Campground and set up shop :)  (didn't have time for a bath, Timmy got lazy)

My buddies brought their Jeeps and I was supposed to bring mine too but plans got jacked at the last minute >:( Oh well, I got to ride Shotgun and take more pics :)

We did some cool trails and some gnarly hill climbs, the weather was beautiful 8)

The views of the Desert Floor were cool 8)

Cool Sunsets and a warm fire every evening made for enjoyable camping :D

Larry cooked up some Shrimp and Lobster for Scooby Snacks 8)

He even made me some Fries too  :)

I had cooked the Turkey, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy Tuesday night, less hassle when unexpected weather decides to shows up (luckily it didn't)

We had a nice feast on Thursday, great to hang out with good friends and family 8)

I smoked a couple Tri-Tips for one of the dinners 8)

I even made some Jerky and other snacks for the trip, good stuff !

Had to get in a few early morning hikes, keeps the blood flowing ;D

Came home early this morning to beat the line of RV'S coming thru The Narrows from Ocotillo, there were tons of people out there and it was a Dust Bowl !!! Feels good to be back home after 4 days of Trailer Life ;D  Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving  8)

The Bad Pig does it again!  Great story, pictures and food as usual when you guys hit the desert!

Forgive me since my memory is crap, but is that campground along the old stagecoach road?  I've only ventured part way down there, but never really gave it a look see.

Love the pictures of the family.

PS... I can't believe your can smoker is still going!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

BTW, those look like Australian lobster tails.  I could probably eat everything on that griddle all by myself.  lol
