Yesterday I was forced out of the apartment from 11-4pm while Alicia did hair stuff with her ma, so I was relegated to the beach on a sh!t tide!

First beach was a no go with grass all up and down the beach. One cast and I was out. Saw this pile though. Clean bones.

2nd beach. Woeful!

Low tide, no structure, some interesting finds in the sand though. I saw one of them conch lookin' shells and picked it up and then realized too late it was somebody's real estate, oi!

There ya go, buddy! Sorry about that!

Another one was available for rent.

Second decayed seal of the day.

Might have gotten a few very light taps on a 4" Kalins, but it was very shallow lifeless water to work with.

Went over to Charkbait for the last hour of my relegation and Tommy clued me in on some trout stuff. Ended up buying some micro spoons online after our conversation. I have a hard time believing I will get out to the real trout spots but I'm an inch closer to being prepared for it.

And, spent an hour this morning at a much higher tide fishing the same stretch. More grass, no bites on an LCFM. Jared was fishing a few miles south and was cursing the grass while skunking out as well.

Great post once again Jeremy, even though the fishing was slow.  It makes me warm and fuzzy knowing someone is out there trying.  LOL

That seal jaw would have made its way into my collection though.  Crazy to see two badly deteriorated fur bags like that.  The ones I see on the beach are usually bloated.
You can't catch them from your computer chair.

It crossed my mind to try to get the jaw just for you, but I didn't have the tools. Or the legal know-how to weasel my way out of possessing (part of) a marine mammal.

A day on the sand ain't a bad thing.

Them bones were calling Tom's name ;D

Trout are plentiful about 6 hours North ;)

The water looks to be calm nice all this week  8)
