AM Session

Figured the early morning bite must be going on since the afternoon bite has only produced cats.

Boring slow morning.  Pelicans, cormorants, and ospreys were all around me, but the rods lay quiet.

I got another rock painted.  lol

I finally get a bite and... it's another turtle.  Pond chicken fever over here apparently.

Went home to enjoy some lunch and figure out what I wanted to do next.

PM Session.

I went back and no surprise but only had an hour to make it happen!  About 10x as many people there now than in the morning.  I also had to park in a different spot due to a lot more people fishing.  I can't complain with easy fishing like this.

About 30 minutes in and I'm on!  Ugh, again!?!?

Next 30 minutes I spent watching the duck parade come through.

Well, that was it.  This winter swell coming through will definitely put a damper on my winter break fishing.  Probably a good thing for my neck and shoulder, but I need to get out before the deepwater spots close!

Thanks for reading and Happy Holidays!
You can't catch them from your computer chair.
