Day at the Docks

Well, my granddaughter is going down with us to the DATD tomorrow.  There's nothing I need to buy, but I plan on perusing the used tackle lot for anything special for the right deal.

Otherwise, it will be fun taking Lydia on the boat tours.  Going to be a bit chilly, but Hopefully I run into a few of you guys down there.

I totally forgot about it   We had Breakfast at Lake Wohlford and did absolutely nothing the rest of the day, I knew I was missing something

I was there from 10a-12p. Didn't need any gear, but took advantage of Fishermans Landing's buy 2 get 1 on lures. Got 3 Current Snipers for tuna and yellows. I never use stick baits for them, but witnessed a dude kill 'em last year on them. Also stocked up some deeply discounted apparel. Also visited some old coworkers at H&M.

I stopped and saw Ollie and chatted for a while.

My wife really likes the bigger boats, but we don't have room for them!  lol
My granddaughter also approved.

We saw about everything and I picked up some deep diver trollers for yellows and tuna.  They were in the Friends of Rollo booth, but new sort of.  We then started walking the docks and stopped at the floating lab.  They had a bunch of critters onboard that my granddaughter loved.





Then we found where Lydia wants to have her "Birthday Party"...  I guess I haven't been down at the docks in a while since I've never seen these!



Lydia was just amazed and excited!





My wife even enjoyed it.



Afterwards, I told Lydia this was the boat i was going to rent for her birthday party.  hahaha



We stopped a few times since we kept bumping into people... well, just to be clear, they knew me and it was annoying Lydia and Mendy.  LOL



Stopped to see Kelly and then Emily and her boyfriend TJ showed up.  We immediately went on a boat cruise since I can't believe how busy it was.  That might have been the busiest morning I've ever seen during the event.

We saw tons of sea dawgs and the kids loved it.  I was probably the only person onboard that was rolling his eyes.  lol

We got back to do our annual Pizza Nova trip and it was a 45 minute wait at 2:30!  WTF.... well, thankfully they called us earlier but it ended up being a great day.

I did come back with four beast deep divers for $25



and 2 boxes of assorted lead for $20 which was WELL worth it.

That was it in a nutshell.  Another fun year in the books.

Oooh, and I forgot to mention we were hungry but not super hungry when we got home....  So I grilled up a few lobster for us to snack on.  LOL
