Putting Up Avatar Pics

Sorry about the uploading process guys.  I'm trying to figure out why it isn't working.

In the meantime, it still is pretty easy to get an avatar up.

Click on the Specify avatar by URLbutton instead of upload button where you select the avatar.

Download your pic or use a pic on Photobucket or some other photo website. 

Copy the "Direct Link" to the picture and paste it in area provided.  It will automatically resize it for you.

That should do it.

Heh thanks. Was just trying to do this today and couldn't write the Jpeg to the site. Will try the html

I can't get any of the methods to work.  If one of the mods can make changes to my profile, could you make this my avatar?

I tried to get into the account to put it up as your avatar, but couldn't.  There should be 3 other links for that pic.  Do me a favor and try each one according to the directions listed here to see if one of them works.  I'll keep looking into it.

I had to delete the http:// that showed in the url window before pasting.  After doing that......presto, it worked
