Summerlike conditions all winter and now we are getting closer to summer, the winter storms are finally getting to us.  This one looks to have a slightly bigger punch in the Southland than the last one did.  We could use it...

Def use it. Jet stream set up in classic winter flow. Go figure.

We could sure use a cutoff low to sit and spin just offshore bringing days and days of rain. *wish* ...

Midwest is getting pounded though  :o

Some good numbers there. Hope we get them.

Wow, they just upgraded the storm!  Those numbers look way more impressive!

Ghad hope so. Crazy looking around the area where we live and what was once green, is now desert mulch and drought friendly shrubbery. And I don't just mean landscaping around businesses. The golf course here has totally redone the watering acreage by ripping out all the rough / bushes / trees and replaced with mulch and sand. Pretty damn ugly.

I've lived here long enough now to see storms just .... fade away as they reach San Diego. We need it so bad.

Edit: Tonights news just said 2-2.5" for most areas in SD by Sat morning. That's quite a Friday dump  :o :o :o :o

Hmmm, I'm interested to see what we got.  With some of those downpours, I'm thinking we got over an inch locally.

Just got an update as a few minutes ago.  LF is at 1.68" with lots of rain still coming in!

I heard my old 'hood in PL got 1.6" in an hour. Outrageous.

Possibly more rain on Friday.  What a crazy weather year it has been so far!
