My wife hated it... I thought it possibly may be one of the best action movies of all time. Mad Max exceeded the hype and expectations.  It's not for all, but worth watching the crazy stunt work and crazy built vehicles!

I just saw it again with my buddies this time. The fine details you catch the second showing makes you understand when they say "Master Mind Director, Goerge Miller".

Normally I would have issues with such grandeur attached to someone's name like this... But I believe it may be true in this case. Not all will like this movie, but for those who like this genre you will find an attention to detail like no other.
I give it a 9.8 out of 10. I only take a .2 away since I can't call anything perfect and need room for improvement, but this falls into my Jaws and Empire Strikes Back categories.
It's money well spent for an action flick for sure!

Just an FYI... If I use the term "Mediocre" at all when responding to your posts, just blame Mad Max. It was only said2x in the movie, but the placement was Perfect!
