I wish it was a motor, but my trailer is literally held together by rust.  I spent the last month trailer shopping and went back to the first place as I was not dropping custom $$$ down for a custom trailer, but FE Trailers at least promised a custom fitting and some upgrades as well as trashing my pile of rust for no cost.

I pulled the trigger today and dropped it off.  Supposed to be ready by Friday, but may take a few more days if the fitting takes some more time.

It will be nice to tow it also for some longer distances than I have been for shear safety sake.  The trailer guy said I was a bump away from disaster with my old trailer.  :-[

About time. Glad to hear you won't be worrying about that anymore.

A bump away from disaster lmfao! Sounds like you got everything you could outta that pile of metal and rust! Hopefully the new one lasts as long as the old one did B)

Well crap.  I called 3 times on Thursday after work to see if the trailer was done, but no one answered and I didn't feel like heading out in rush hour traffic just to check.  He said Friday when I dropped it off, so I showed up when they were supposed to open. Apparently Vic decided to give everyone an extended weekend and not let anyone know things were done.  I'll reserve my review of FE Trailers after I get my boat on Monday after work.

I got to the locked gate and saw this staring at me in the face!  A lot higher than I asked for, but I could see the bow eye and possibly the fenders may have caused them to have to raise the boat on the trailer.  It's tough trying to analyze a picture and looking through a steel gate.   ::)

Looks clean, but it does look like its sitting a little high.

I totally agree. The trailer is 3 feet longer with a swing arm out front so it should put the boat in fine. I'm a little skeptical, but they said they will readjust the bunks if this doesn't work. I see why they did what they did due to the brackets to properly support the weight, but we'll see. I also have a busted stern eye as they were fitting the boat, but I saw that the threads were totally rusted out.
Lots of work to do on her now, but she should be in tip top shape here after this weekend. Old girl needs some extra TLC.
