This is real tempting to be able to carry more stuff to maximize the beach trip. Anyone use something like this?

Parking way away from the beach is often needed and I'm not getting any younger.

I made one a while back to save me the money.  Works good, but not as functional as a real beach cart.

You can't catch them from your computer chair.

I have a strap for everything and hang it over my shoulders. I look like the Beverly hillbillies truck but it gets me where I'm going.

I modified a garden cart I bought from Costco, but rarely use it. I try to not carry too much gear. It does come in handy when long rodding in the bay for bats when the fire pits are from the parking lots.

Well I'll be the guinea pig and just ordered one up.

Been looking to make something like it but factor parts and time that I'd rather be fishing and it is worth it to me. More mobility is the goal.

Nice ....

Heh ... I don't own enough stuff to warrant a cart.

Backpack tackle, beach chair, rod, bait ... is my go to set up.  ;D

Cart arrived yesterday and put it together. The liner was on back order so I can't pack the small stuff in it.

Doesn't fit too well in the hatchback but is fine for the truck. I may do a short sesh at MB or OB to get some dirt on it.

The best aspect is the axle and wheels have no bearings to get sanded up a big split ring holds on the wheels and easily can come of to clean it.

Cool.  Look forward to seeing some pics and how it does.  8)

Loaded with a small bait chest and a bigger keeper chest, or big bait chest and small water/food chest

Compared to my "little red wagon" mod that was OK but has limitations. Notice the very large tire difference that should go much better over sand that the little one. The big ones handle detaches with a single pull pin.

Loaded with cutting board and sand crab rake in 2 rod holders.

How do you get it down the stairs?

So far I haven't fished into areas with stairs. The back does have a T handle on it for a helper to grab. If no helper then I'll apply some cajun ingenuity/engineering.

First mod is going to be mounting 2 500 lumen flashlights as headlights/picture illumination.

Once the liner that is shipping out today gets here I can figure where the P/S stickers can go.

Looks pretty big to lug around. Just mount a motor and a tranny and drive it to the beach. Put pegs in the back for Binh to ride on then you guys can hit the carpool lane ;)
