Cats 8/29

I decided to head out to a private housing lake in OC that I haven't been to in 8 years.

The place always produced quality bass and catfish.

Got there at sunset and began drinking beer.

I became too lazy to toss plastics and crankbaits for bass so I soaked a c-rigged hot dog for cats.

Fished an area that has produced in the passed but no takers.

It became dark and I was now able to move into my favorite spot.

Tossed out a hot dog and got picked up within 5 minutes.

This was the first landed



Left my digital scale in the truck but my trained eye puts it at a few pounds.

Got him back in the water and tossed out another hot dog chunk

Shortly after I picked up this guy



Then this one



These last 2 were pretty fun, got some good runs out of them. Again, no scale so the trained eye came into play. I can safely say they were 10lbs. each.

Pretty fun evening, lookin forward to doing it again. Would really like to get one upwards of 20lbs. I know theyre in there.
